Titanium is mined throughout the world and is the 9th most abundants substance on Earth. Considered much healthier for the coral reefs than oxybenzone and octinoxate.

Historical Uses

This ingredient does not absorb into the skin, it acts as a shield that deflects harmful UV and UVB rays. It is also used as a colorant. It is most commonly found in sunscreens and makeup.
